Lauren Conrad and Cat Eye Eyeliner

Cat eye eyeliner: we saw it on tons of Spring 2012 runways, like Ruffian, Fendi, and Dolce & Gabbana (aw heck, we even saw it at Kanye West!), and according to the fashion weeks of late, we're taking this trend into 2013. Yay! Or nay, if you're lacking in liquid liner skillz (self-included).

Do you know who's got good cat eye and liquid liner game? Lauren Conrad. She has that sh*t locked down to a science, and it always looks perfect. We can all learn a little from LC, and lucky for us, she has a video tutorial cleverly titled "Get Catty" on how we too, can be just as catty as our favourite Hills alum.

Lauren Conrad's Cat Eye Tutorial

The Best Liquid Eyeliners to get catty with (Well, 3 of them.)

1. Maybelline New York Eye Studio Master Precise Ink Pen Eyeliner, $9. I've always been hesitant to try a cat eye since liquid eyeliner makes my list of Greatest Fears, but even I'm doing it, thanks to this new product. It is incredibly easy to use, so if you're a weenie like me, or new to liquid liner, I highly recommend giving it a try. (Available at a drugstore.)

2. Dior Style Liner Intense Liquid Eyeliner, $34. I've always been a fan of Dior make-up, so the fact that they make one of the best liquid liners in the biz is no surprise. This liner has won countless beauty awards, and year after year you'll find it on Allure's list of Best Beauty Products. (Available at Sephora.)

3. mark. Get in Line Liquid Liner, $7. This is what our girl LC uses for her annoyingly perfect cat eye, so it must be good. (Let's just ignore the face that she's a spokesperson for the brand and believe that she actually uses it, ok?) FYI, it's also available in fun colours like turquoise and violet, in case you want to get all Jil Sander SS12 on your face. (Available via Avon.)

Have you been "catty" this season? What are your favourite liquid eyeliners?

  1. Love the cat-eye look. It's my favorite no-fail, go-to, everyday look. It's just so lady-like and fuss free.

  2. I love Lauren Conrad she always looks so beautiful. I cannot get on with liquid eyeliner at all but I have recently got the maybelline gel liner and I love using that for doing cat eyes :) xx
