challenge: accepted! color blocking on the reg

Some people said I couldn't do it. Would I look like a Christmas tree cookie? Maybe. Probably. But I didn't care. Challenge: Accepted! I wore my two favourite summer colours at once. I'm color blocking on the reg, yo. Eat your heart out, Jil Sander.

Caught in a candid moment (obvi), I pondered what could possibly be missing.

And inspired by the snow-capped mountains, I knew:
A turban! Duhhh.

top: Graham & Spencer, skirt: Forever 21, shoes: Dolce Vita, jewelry: BCBG Max Azria & vintage, turband: DIY.

3-in-1 Bonus Picture!

Look closely and you'll see: the view, my accessories et moi, and where all the magic happens.
This is what happens when I try to be artsy fartsy.

  8. Thanks for showing a great way to colourblock on hot summer days. This outfit could easily go from a patio restaurant to a bar to a concert. I tried the colourblocking thing too but I have to say I really like your take on it!

PS - the outtakes post was great - I like it when people don't take themselves too seriously. I know I don't.

  20. 1) you pretty much rocked it!! I could never pull off those two happy colors at once (it wouldn't look so nice on me) but you look great.

    2) your shoes are to die for.

  21. Great photos :) you have skills, girl!
Breathtaking landscape and I am digging your colour blocking. The other day I wore a purple purse while wearing an army green dress.
This is as far as my colour blocking skills have taken me.
    KEEP INSPIRING!!!
