shoes on the brain

As you can tell from my last post, I, as usual, have shoes on the brain. However, not just any shoes (and not shoes that all-too-closely resemble the, er, female anatomy) but shoes that can be worn when it's not pouring rain or a balmy zero degrees. Has anyone else started obsessively perusing the interweb for SS11 footwear (and apparel and accessories) or did my brief time in California get my warm weather cravings started way too early? Here are some beauties that are currently on my online wish lists and haunting my dreams:

L to R: Opening Ceremony, Boutique 9, Ash.

All Alexander Wang, of course.

L & R: Twelfth St. by Cynthia Vincent, Middle: Tory Burch.

On a side note, I've only featured three styles, but Alexander Wang's SS11 shoes are amazing. You would expect no less and you'll still be pleasantly surprised.

Now please excuse me while I begrudgingly go put on my Hunter boots. Again.

PS. Have you entered my latest giveaway? You can win 2 Essie nail polishes courtesy of Glowing Beauty. To enter, visit A Haute Mess on Facebook and tell me what your favourite Essie polish colours are on my wall. It's that simple! Good luck!

  1. My eyes are glued to all the Alexander Wangs. The furthest one to the left is my favourite. I don't expect anything less from him. The colour of the shoes are perfect for Spring. Must refrain from shopping...

  4. Gorgeous shoes, but whilst I'm looking forward to the Spring/Summer weather, I'm much more of an Autumn/Winter girl fashion wise, so I'm not wishing it away just yet xxx

  12. Is it bad that sometimes when I'm not listening it's because I have shoes on the brain? Great picks, I can't wait to ditch winter boots and get my feet into some new spring shoes :)

  17. Niki B.,

I think we were separated at birth! You have some excellent picks here. The Ash, Alexander Wang, and Twelfth St. are all "wifey material." But that's not to downplay Open Ceremony, Boutique 9 or Tory Burch.

I still have a "winter state of mind," but we'll see what happens after I come back from Vegas in a week or so.

  18. I must admit, I haven't really gotten into the SS11 mindset yet... but that's probably because I just moved from MB to BC and the idea of no snow in Feb is mind blowing! lol
Your picks are awesome though and they've definitely started me thinking about it! xx
