I Follow: Paris à la Mode

...and you should too! My friend and fellow blogger, Perry Paris, of Paris à la Mode and East Coast fame, has been an avid supporter of A Haute Mess since my little blog was born and it's not often enough that I can show him the same love that he shows me. Well here it is friends, ELLE Canada is looking for Canadian blog talent and this is my official campaign for Paris à la Mode! I would love it if you would post P.A.L.M. on the ELLE Canada facebook page and of course, check him out too!

Wearing: Tee courtesy of Paris à la Mode, H&M skirt, Jeffrey Campbell shoes

Yay for Canadian bloggers! I follow Paris à la Mode... do you?

  1. That shirt is hideouss! You can't wear that with a skirt... Actually I couldn't see it being stylish ANY way you wear it. "Oh but I only wear it bacause I follow Paris a la mode"... So you wanna look like a deushbag because you read someone elses ramblings of terrible attire? ... Lol

  3. wow "Anonymous" -- I published your comment because I believe that everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion, but at least have the balls to use your name if you actually expect people to respect it. And for the record -- if supporting a friend makes me look like a douchebag (check your spelling), then here's to more douchebaggery!

  4. I happen to think the T-Shirt is fabulous. I have been trying to get my hands on one in each color. AND I think it was great with the skirt. It's getting late on the East Coast, so I won't go into a full list mode of how many ways those t-shirts look amazing, so I will list my favorite one.

I Follow Paris a la mode t-shirt, skinny jeans, fitted blazer and a kick ass pair a stilettos.

Anyone can work a PALM tee. Confidence and Style is all anyone needs :)

  5. Way to spell douchebag Anonymous. That is my brand!...hate it?....speak up! Why remain anonymous?

  6. I think "anonymous" was a little extreme, but I too have checked out Paris a la mode. I find it little more than an exercise in self promotion more than a fashion blog for Atlantic Canadians.

  7. I love fan mail, hate mail is the best!! This one is brilliant...anonymous and you can't spell. That is my brand and my blog, you are entitled to dislike it. Why be a coward and remain anonymous?

  9. I was going to post a comment to this douchebag about learning how to spell douchebag properly before showing such awesome levels of douchebaggery...but Niki B. beat me to it with the spelling lesson. With that being said, Anonymous, if you want to get your panties in a bunch over something, get them twisted over the fact that you really could have been doing something more productive with your time. Like actually looking up words before attempting to spell them.

*puts on my P.A.L.M. shirt, throws fist in the air, walks away*

  10. Anonymous,
He's a fashion blogger, not a fashion designer. The tee is part of his marketing schtick; not designed to be worn on the runways in Milan! PLEASE....!

  13. Wow looks like I really hit some nerves misspelling douchebag. I don't think the misspelling of one word really matters, you know, because I was just leaving a comment, not writing a university paper.

  14. I write travel articles about the East Coast, and I follow Paris a la mode. He writes in support of local artists, models, fashion designers, photographers, musicians, etc. Any blog that can spotlight Atlantic talent AND fashion is worth supporting...and the t-shirt? It looks amazing on Nikki B with that skirt and those fabulous shoes!

  15. The whole beauty of a tee is that you can wear it many different ways, I`ve even seen the tee cut around the neckline to hang loosely around the shoulders. I`ve personally worked the tee with a blazer, jeans, and a kick ass pair of steve maddens, but no one came up to me screaming bloody murder. Please, anonymous, keep your jealous comments to yourself. If you think you`re any better, why don`t you create a tee that writes `anonymous` across the front?.. ya right.... like that would sell.. *(rolls eyes)*

  17. Not sure what this issue is here??? He promotes himself by having a T-Shirt.. I own one and wear it proudly.. We wear his shirt to show support of him, it's not like wearing an Iron Maiden shirt in your thirties, living in your mom's basement smoking pot and listen to 80's Glam metal thinking to yourself " hey dude, I'm like soooo wasted right now"
And if you are a hater of self promotion then don't watch my show.. It will piss you off!!

  20. No anonymous, you're truly entitled to your opinion! Noone cares about your spelling, I think the nerve you speak of hit some followers when you posted your comment to begin with. We all got the point deush or douche. Hate me, hate my blog, and hate my style. I'd like to say thank you personally for attracting all of the attention to my blog and increasing the traffic to my site. Much appreciated:)

  21. Eyy no problem. See! Negativity sometimes does turn into something good. I hope we've all learned a lesson here.. Except for that other anonymous guy. He's kind of a jerk and he also stole my moniker.
