Boudoir Crossing

Is what Style.com calls this look. Inspired by Whitney Port at the VMAs, I decided to give it a try for a Saturday night out (with a bit more coverage than the City girl). Terrifying people everywhere, I tweeted about wearing lingerie in public with thigh high boots. As you can see, the twitter-induced vomiting was a complete over reaction.

Much more demure than expected, yes? The boyfriend blazer, tights and Wilfred skirt easily tone down a trend that could otherwise be vulgar.

Wearing vintage pearls and a ring I got in Europe at a jewelry stand. I can't remember where the leopard scarf came from. All I know is if you're ballsy enough to wear a corset, animal print is the perfect companion.

Hope everyone had a great weekend, and don't forget to enter my GIVEAWAY!

  2. Chic! Usually I like to keep my lingerie to myself, but if done in a stylish way like this, I don't mind putting it on display! :D

  22. You definitely pulled this off in a classy way! I have a corset but haven't worn it in ages. I think the key is not to show too much skin and pair the outfit with the perfect accessories. The blazer and pearls are a perfect touch!
